<p>The vast majority of PhD programs seem to want 3 letters of recommendation; I’ve found two that require only two.</p>
<p>Anyone else know of any other schools that require two? Especially really good schools? I 'd like just one reach school to apply to and I’ve had trouble getting recommendations so one that requires two letters would be nice…</p>

<p>Polisci or policy or maybe some interdisciplinary kind of social science program.</p>
<p>I seriously doubt anyone on here is going to go down a list with those programs and help you find all the ones that only require 2 LORs. <p>If you can’t research a PhD program now, I seriously doubt you’re ready to write a 300 page dissertation…</p>
<p>Obviously I wasn’t asking anyone to do anything proactive, but considering how many people here have spent a tremendous amount of time researching grad schools I thought they might just mention it if they’d seen it–“Oh, I remember seeing that University X only required two letters”</p>
<p>Try the following google search, or something similar: political science phd “two letters” recommendation</p>
<p>I had tried that initially but had limited success. Sometimes actual human eyes are the best choice.</p>
