Schools Similar to NYU

Hi,

I am a junior in high school, and we’ve been looking at colleges, and I really would like to go to NYU, but it is a bit of a reach for me. Are there any schools that are similar to NYU (in the northeastern area), but maybe easier to get into?

I’m looking for schools with good graphic design, economic, and marketing programs.

Look into Boston University.

Boston College, College of William & Mary, UPenn, Northeastern, University of Virginia, Rutgers, and Penn State.

I can’t think of a place that is more different than NYU and W&M or UVA!

^ So what if they are in the South? I know that OP requested schools in the Northeast, but UVA and William & Mary are similarly ranked with NYU and have reputable economics programs.

Boston University, Northeastern, George Washington, Fordham, American University, Drexel

W&M, BC, UVA, and UPenn are not “easier” to get into than NYU.

This.

BC, W&M, UVa and Fordham (Rosehill), Rutgers and Penn State are NOT even close to being anything like NYU.

Drexel and BU (and maybe Fordham Lincoln Center) probably come the closest, followed by American and GW.

GW, Drexel, BU, Norhteastern…

Those have already been said but perhaps I’m reinforcing them.

I’m guessing you want city schools and I agree with many of the suggestions and would add one or two: in DC-- GW, American, Catholic U; in NY Fordham (take the time to look at both the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campuses – LC is in Manhattan, but RH has marketing/business), Manhattan College; in Boston – BU, Northeastern; in Phila. – Drexel, St. Joes; in New Orleans–Tulane

You mean large urban schools that gap everyone on aid?
