My suggestion…take the out of state public universities OFF of this list. You are not going to get sufficient aid to attend these schools. You are OOS, and a transfer student. Your family isn’t paying taxes to support these schools. They charge OOS students a higher rate because they expect to get that higher rate.
As an Illinois resident, look at some of the smaller directional universities, Northern Illinois, for example.
