I’ve set my mind on Civil Engineering, but i’m nervous that most of my schools are reaches for my current statistics. Looking for schools mainly in VA/CA with decent Civil Engineering programs a bit closer to my statistics. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Cost isn’t really a factor, more-so just looking for lower requirement engineering schools. My fear is not getting into a good school and falling back on a non-engineering safety. May add George Mason as it’s not too far off my stats. Thank you for the list!

Despite your solid grades and SAT, UCD, UCB and SLO are probably out of your reach. CP Pomona you’ll get into. Other to consider from the list above are Loyola and CSU San Diego, Long Beach and Chico. Apply to Santa Clara too.

@NCalRent I figured about the same, thank you for being informative and realistic. I checked out the schools you suggested and they all look good so i may replace Berkeley and CPSLO(want to keep one reach, and Davis seems most likely) with SDSU and Long Beach. I appreciate it!

Definitely check out University of Georgia. Your test scores are well above their averages and they’re supposed to have a great engineering program!
