schools where you can pay instate tuition as an out of state student while studying abroad

Dear all,
I have a daughter at Georgia Tech, we are out of state and paying full tuition. She loves her school and we are so happy that she is thriving and has gotten such good grades. One thing we did not realize was that when you do a study abroad program at GT you pay instate tuition. That has been a blessing in the sky. She came in with some AP credit, took 2 math and 2 physics classes at a local community college after the first year that she got credit for. She has done a full year program abroad where we paid approximately half of what we would have paid if she had remained on campus. She also did a second semester abroad which was very cheap as well. Here is my question are there other schools with a similar program - Where you pay instate tuition for study abroad programs ? She is a stellar student with a 1530 on her SAT and I expect her to get into most schools. I just want to get a break on tuition. She will have 8 APs that I would like her to get credit for. I have searched many schools study abroad programs but been unable to what GT has. Anyone?

UGA is the same. Pay instate tuition when abroad. Their abroad programs are very good.

At Wyoming we paid the cost of the program, which was more than instate tuition and less than OOS. We could use all the school financial aid. When it came time for taxes and the 1098-t, I was informed none of it was tuition, just a lof of fees and housing The ‘program’ refuses to give a 1098-t or even itemize what anything was for.

ok thanks, I’m continuing to search for my now junior in high school, trying to find a state school with similar advantages,

Florida State has a plan that if you agree to study abroad freshman year then you receive in-state tuition for the remainder of your time.
