Schools with apps due 12/15?

<p>I’ve heard of some schools having deadlines in mid-December. I went on the sites again and it doesn’t look like any of my schools have firm deadlines of 12/15, but I’m paranoid and wanted to check. </p>

<p>Which schools have firm deadlines in mid-December that you know of?</p>

<p>I’m applying to Rice, Hopkins, HYP, Penn, Duke, and Dartmouth.</p>

<p>Duke’s deadline is not 12/15 (it’s January something, the first or second) but if you want an alumni interview you have to submit your application before then.</p>

<p>Thanks - I believe the interview deadline is 12/10. None of the others have mid-December deadlines though, right? I’ve checked already but am so paranoid, and then I’m also curious about which schools do have mid-December deadlines too, haha.</p>

<p>I don’t know about Rice or HYP because I’m not applying there, but Penn, Duke, Dartmouth, and Hopkins are not due on 12/15, no. If you find a date on one of their official sites, follow that. They won’t be trying to hide anything.</p>

<p>I do not know which, if any, have a Dec 15 app deadline, although I am guessing it would be a small number of colleges if any. It is more common to have and end of Nov or Dec 1 date or end of Dec or early Jan date than it would be to have a mid December date. In any event, colleges all put their application deadline dates on their sites, so if a college’s site is telling you the deadline is in Jan that is when it is.</p>

<p>Most schools’ deadlines are either 12/31, 1/1, or 1/2. I think OP got the idea of that 12/15 deadline is because some schools with the above deadlines DO encourage students submit their apps two weeks earlier.
However, the deadline is the deadline. No need to worry!</p>

<p>Not on OP’s list, but I know Holy Cross College has a 12/15 ED deadline.</p>
