Schools with Premed?

<p>I’m a rising senior in high school. Would it be safest route to choose premed as major for getting into med schools in the future? My SAT score is around 1900’s and my GPA is around 4.2. Which schools with good premed or biology programs do I have a chance at?</p>

Duke
Berkeley
Johns Hopkins
Virginia Commonwealth
Tufts
Drexel
Carnegie
U Miami</p>

<p>Not what you asked but a general comment:</p>

<p>Unless you are a URM there are several schools on your list that will be VERY BIG reaches for admission with a 1900s SAT and, even if you are a URM, will still be very tough admits. They include Duke, Berkeley, Hopkins, W&M (if not a VA resident), Carnegie Mellon, and even Tufts.</p>

<p>If you aren’t a URM you need some help revising your list because it appears to be far too top heavy.</p>
