Schools with the best biology program?

What are some schools with the best and strongest biology and science related programs that also have good internships as well as high percentage to medical school?

Schools that I found:
Drexel University
University of Rochester
University of the Science in Philadelphia
Penn State
Northeastern
NYU
Stony Brook University
Binghamton University
University of Scranton

***PLEASE DO NOT LIST OR MENTION HYP, MIT, OR UPENN.

Lots of threads on this already if you do a search. And you can google it.

My only other comment would be not to get suckered by the percent of kids who get into medical school from any given undergraduate school. Some schools have ‘weeder’ classes that effectively reduce the number of kids who will have a GPA that is competitive for admission to medical school. Among the ‘survivors’, there will be a high admit rate. Other schools that are supportive of all their science majors and won’t weed as agressively, may have a lower admit rates. The admissions rate to medical school says very little about how good the science programs are. Instead, check out the pre-med advising, the internship/research opportunities and your ability to develop relationships with the faculty who will need to write your letters of recommendation/committee letter.
