I got one too. I don’t know much about it though.

Anyone have any personal information about the program?

I’m a schupf scholar. It’s just a program to help facilitate your academic interests during the summer. You’re designated as a scholar in a specific academic field (I’m humanities). There are seminars throughout the year, and your summer proposal is due in March. I’m not doing anything with the program this summer. I know some scholars who are doing research with Amherst professors, I know one guy who got his vacation to Thailand paid as an opportunity to write (He’s a scholar in creative writing/philosophy), and I know another who is going to a prestigious writing institution in Europe (expenses paid, I believe). Note that I haven’t done much with the program so I may not be the best source of information.

Is the Schupf Scholars Program the only program that offers research opportunities in the humanities?

Probably not, but I don’t know of any others.

I got one too…
Does anyone know what sorts of research opportunities does the program offer in the sciences field?
