Science and Technology Studies Program

Does anyone here know whether the S&TS program at Cornell is worth taking? How rigorous is the coursework; how much emphasis is placed on real world applications; how good are the professors?

Also, is it a good idea to take the S&TS minor with the Biology major, or even major in both?

Any input will be appreciated…thanks!!

Hmmm…seems like nobody knows about S&TS…what other majors would complement biology?

I only know one person who is doing S&TS. As far as I know, it is more of a liberal arts major than a science one. You analyze history and policy. But I really don’t know that much more about it. If you want to do bio, and you are interested in policy, Biology and Society might be a better major for you.

Yes but I’m already planning on taking the Bio major…so I thing S&TS might be a better complement without having too much of an overlap
