What are some science fairs that doesn’t require a high school student to be a senior? I know that the Siemens Competition allows grades 9-12 to participate IF they are working in groups, but it may be troublesome to find another high school student with similar research interests to mine. Furthermore, the money would be split if I were to work in groups, and such a division has a probability of unevenness.

Just do your local science fair, you should have one. For us, if we win local you can go to regional where you can go to state and possibly internationals (ISEF). You can be grades 9-12.
