Science Honors Program Recommendation Letters

I am currently working on an application for the Columbia Science Honors Program. While I know that I am getting a letter from my 9th grade(this year) honors biology teacher, I am still not clear about something.

How many letters do we need?

I was thinking about my eighth grade Algebra 1 teacher(my Geometry teacher doesn’t know me very well, while my algebra teacher thought decently high of me and I had an A final grade in it). I thought a math letter would be good for a math and science program

Or possibly my seventh grade life science teacher because that is where I fell in love with science, and that teacher could really describe my scientific passion.

Thank you all so much!

You only need one letter of recommendation. To be on the safe side, I suggest getting your letter from a high school teacher.

I am getting it from my Biology Honors teacher from this year, thank you for the help!
