Science on the act is worthless IMO.

Is it really looked down upon if all of your scores were decent but your science score was incredibly terrible? Ex: 27 english 27 math 25 reading 17 science :frowning: I just cant handle it i always run out of time and i really dont understand why it is even on the ACT, because the SAT doesnt have science and arent they supposed to be like sort of equivalent to each other?

I heard colleges look at the composite score then look at individual ones. So if the 17 dropped your composite, then retake it.

I feel your pain. My Science score was 6-9 points below all of the rest of my scores, which were all in the 30s.

I agree, but take advantage of it! It’s really easy once you get used to it.

Why would you even take the ACT if you dont like science? Without the science section it is similar to the SAT…

It’s more reading comprehension with graphs and charts than actual science.
