Just wondering if any of you are in or have experience with the S&TS major. I think it has some pretty interesting courses and am considering either a change of major or possible picking up the concentration.

Pros/Cons?

Also, since I am currently a Communications major in CALS, how would a minor in S&TS affect my Financial Aid. As a NYS resident, I get that oh-so-wonderful tuition cut–will S&TS (CAS minor) interfere?

well im a bio and society major which is in the s&ts department. i originally declared the major because i thought it would be science and humanites, but then i looked at the requirements that i would have to take, and i am more excited for the electives that i picked rather than the classes to fufill the requirements, so idk what i’m gonna do, esp. since biological sciences is such a competitive major and its best to do something other than bio for premed.

to your second question, i dont think that it will interefere because i was told that i could minor in psych if i wanted to
