Anyone else apply for this program? I just had my interview and it was AWFUL!!! I mixed up 2 of the programs that are offered at sciencespo and they asked me questions about current events esp. in FRANCE that I didn’t know too much about. I also had an exam right before (middle of exam szn rn) and it just did not go well. I came off as unknowledgeable even though
I researched SO DEEPLY into the program!!! AM I SCREWED!!!
tdlr: I think I really messed up the interview is it over haha
didn’t get an interview but my friend did !! she also told me that her interview was awful, as if the smiles were faked. Did someone have the same feeling??
The jury have strict instructions not to frown nor express any feeling, positive or negative, remaining neutral/smiling.
It’s an oral exam: if you were selected for the interview, it means you made first cut and now they’re trying to determine who has what they want. The oral exam is the second step in the selection process and can lead to either a lower ranking among all candidates or outright elimination from the list. You don’t know how well you did compared to the others so if others did even worse you’ll pull through and get in!
It’s also a reminder that you’ll be studying in Europe, where professors don’t think it’s their job to be supportive or encouragining, rather to challenge you and push you to your max.
ME 2!!! I did my interview and I messed up the “why school” question (I confused the majors in sciences po), but I felt like I did quite well in the recent event ones. I think decision is coming out in a few days so finger crossed literally so nervous…
I GOT IN YALL ITS NEVER JOEVER!!!
Seriously the interview was not horrible the more i think abt it - nvm it was quite bad. but i sent an email clearing up anything. maybe that helped?
My essays were really bad too lol yeah they fumbled with this one
