I got a 640 on my diagnostic test in the bArrons book. I would like to know if it is a true score, because Barrons is hard. If not, what would be the score on the legit test. Also what would be the Barrons score for a 750 on the Subject test.

On the diagnostic, I scored a 700.
On the first few practice exams, I had somewhere between 650s-690s. And I did it all on the night before the real thing, and that was a stupid mistake as it had a costly consequence.
On the real thing, I managed to snipe a 740. Two reasons: 1) Time pressure 2) My mind just went blank on the exam. Like, blank. Even on the easy questions such as which graphs represent a 1-1 function, I totally forgot about the horizontal + vertical line test so I didn’t answer that one.
I’m going to retake it in October, though!

TL;DR: As long as you get like around 660+, you should be able to get 750+
In my case, I was dumb and kind of unprepared lulz. Should’ve practiced in a more timely manner.

The diagnostic test is relative easy. You should try the practice tests and add 50-80 to estimate your score. The last practice test is horrible. Don’t be scare by it. My D was so upset after the last practice test with numerous missed. She score 800 in the real test probably with no mistake.

I think you definitely still need to study some more to get a 750+. I got a 700 on the diagnostic exam and I still needed to study to reach an 800.

I got the same thing on the diagnostic I’m pretty sure, I was kinda freaking out because Barron’s is so hard. I wasn’t able to devote much time to studying math 2, but I ended up with a 760 (like a week after the diagnostic, and after one more practice test). So I disagree that you definitely need a lot more studying for a 750+, but I’d recommend it… I’m going to retake probably.

Thanks. Swhen I was taking it my parents were talking and for 5 minutes I couldn’t do a problem. I omitted like 10 and probably 5 of those I could answer.

I got a 640 as well on the diagnostic test the week before my exam. I then read through most of the book, mainly focusing on topics I haven’t really covered in my math classes or ones I forgot, and then I took the first two practice tests. Both I scored within the 600-700 range leaning towards 700. I also took the one in the official blue book Collegeboard has for the subject tests. I scored a 760 on that.
