"Score Choice" for AP Scores

Stanford’s website explicitly states that students can choose to report whatever AP scores they’d like on the CommonApp, but no other college website that I’ve visited mentions being able to choose the AP scores you’d like to report.

In general, am I allowed to not report all my AP scores?

Yes.

Keep in mind, however, that if your transcript lists an AP course as having been completed, and you have not reported a corresponding score, you run the rick of admissions officers thinking one of three things:
• Financial hardship prevented you from taking the exam
• You were not motivated enough to take the exam
• You took the exam and performed poorly
The first one will not affect your application; the last 2 may raise an eyebrow. AO’s can, and have, contacted GC’s to explain why there are AP scores not reported.

@skieurope How do you know if you used score choice? I haven’t taken the SAT yet but I have taken 2 subject tests and I am not proud of those scores so I’m retaking them in November. So do I pick the scores I want to send? I’m so confused about this process and then when is the deadline for using this? I couldn’t find it on collegebaord. Like I don’t know how to start the process for this and I don’t want college board to send all of my scores because I didn’t use score choice.
