My daughter took the SAT for the first time in March. She had the flu and missed the entire week of school prior to the test (verifiable through school attendance records and a doctor’s note). She really wanted to take the test as planned and while she was still on Tamiflu and decongestant, she decided to take it as planned. She took it again in May and scored 230 points higher. For schools that don’t allow Score Choice (UCs and a few others that she is considering), will this look suspicious? Will we have the chance to explain the large discrepancy?
UC’s will take the highest score from a single sitting and a 230 point difference will not be questioned.
Thank you.
