Score difference - SAT

I took the SATs again and I anticipate the following:

800M
720CR
700-800W (could be anywhere in between)

Based on that my score will be between 2220 and 2320. How much difference will the two scores make if I have good grades, SAT IIs, leadership, essays etc.)? Please consider that I am an Indian international.

Enquiring because I heard people with 1900 SAT can also get in if they have exceptional amount of leadership.

remember that Chicago doesn’t take your SAT I/ ACT Writing score into consideration, reasoning that their admissions counselors can better judge your writing than the College Board corporate graders.

So, you’ll be looking at (if your predictions are correct) 1520/1600 rather than 2220-2320/2400.

Also, Chicago looks for intellectual curiosity and potential more than strict leadership, so that in mind. and work on those essays! They should be coming out sometime in the coming months, so keep an eye on the admissions website.

Good luck!

Hey Jebar, I also took the SAT recently… we will have to talk on the 24th
I think that your predicted 1520 gives a strong chance, since it is similar to the mid 50% of accepted students.
If you think you are able to improve CR by at least 40 points, I would try again. Anyway, let’s talk in a week :)

Alright. Wow? Mid 50% only? I read their website and the class of 2013 or maybe 2014 had a 25th percentile of 1350 and a 75th percentile of 1530.
