For the May SAT I got a score of 2270 (790 Writing, 760 CR, and 720 math).
If I’m planning to apply as a science/STEM major, would my math score hurt my application a lot?
I was wondering how much colleges actually care about the individual scores for each section compared to the overall score.
You are almost done. I think you can increase your math 750 or so to increase your chances for science/STEM major. If you are looking for MIT, then take the test again. Your W and CR are great. You just need to be careful to get the 750+ on Math.
I think you should try for a 800 if you want science/STEM.
