Score of 2000 on New SAT = ???? Old SAT

If you receive a score of 2000 on the new SAT, do you think that it is equivalent to a 1333 on the old SAT? Or since the New SAT was longer, fewer questions in each section, and even harder that maybe the same proportions don’t apply? Is it possible that a score of 2000 is probably more in line with an old SAT score of 1400?

Many top tier schools had a minimum of 1400 to consider the applicant, do you think that 2000 might be the new minimum??

I’d consider a 2000 to be a 1360. You gotta allow some consideration for the length of the exam. This is why no one aces the MCAT. The MCAT is FIVE HOURS LONG! Imagine taking that!

By the standard I’m using, I think I got a 1490 (2200 New SAT).

I’ve heard that you get a lunch break in the middle of the MCAT. Anyhow, I pedict the schools that had a minumum requirement of 1400 will now have it at 2050

Haz, what would a new SAT score of 1860 be compared to the old. Thanks

yo kumar got a perfect mcat if u recall from harold and kumar haha

1860 is about1240 on old if u do a straight conversion

haz, the new SAT is 4.5 to 5 hours long! and no lunch break :(

wat is a 1970?

There is no freakin’ minimum requirement for an SAT score to get into college. Please stop quantifying the whole college admissions process.

you seem pretty angry in all of your posts

hahahahhah…
by the way… 1970 = 1313

I got a 2200 too!
Awww, essay grader gave me an 8 out of 12!!!
my essays are usually 6’s if not most of hem if I try. I think I would have gotten a 780 on the writing section if not for the stupid essay score that brought me down to a 700 (I only got like 5-6 questions wrong on mc).
I think it might be b/c of a bit of religion I put into mine… dissention? I put persevearance as a Christian.
Dunno guys… what should I do, would be awesome if I can get another grader to look at my essay.
Well… 2200, not bad… but still, I usually do really well on writing (I got a 780 on SAT II writing).
Darn, I thought writing would be the one section that would save me!

i though verbal would be my savior but i guess i went wrong somewhere along the way… :(
