Score percentiles

On the app status page where it lists all test scores received, it gives a percentile for only my SAT Subject Tests, but not for my ACT tests. What does this mean? Is there a special weight given to Subject Tests even though they’re not required from applicants?

I don’t think it means a thing. There is no percentile given for any of DS’s SAT I scores. When first two SAT subject tests showed up, they had percentiles. Then, when his third SAT subject-test score appeared, it had a percentile, but the percentiles for the other two subject tests disappeared.

As someone who works in e-commerce, I can assure you that websites are a whole lot buggier and wonkier than we can even imagine. And the bigger the site, the buggier.

So, not to worry. The computer gremlins do not know the difference between an SAT subject test and a hole in the wall. The little glithces mean nothing, IOW.

My 2 cents’ worth, anyway.

Those are just the percentiles you scored in for the subject tests. They don’t indicate any type of weighting or anything.

Same with me and I still got in. Don’t worry about it.

Doberhound - what were your percentiles for the subject tests? I have 55th for both of my tests so I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing
