Hi! I have a question about the delayed scores in Egypt. Last December, when the scores were delayed, the score range came up on the ‘colleges we’ve matched for you’ page about a week later and we could calculate our Reading and Math scores. It’s been weeks since the May score was delayed and the score range hasn’t come out yet, which worries me. Is it possible they’ve cancelled our scores? Or is the investigation just taking a while longer? I’m really anxious. I didn’t do anything wrong and I don’t want my hard work to be in vain.

Well, there won’t be a “score range” anymore from May on. You can’t see your score range just because the CB no longer shows it, but it doesn’t necessarily mean score cancellation. You’ll be fine.

Not quite sure why they no longer show it. My personal guesses: 1. The “college match” service possibly needs maintenance or renovation. 2. Because of the “college match” service we can view our score ranges before CB officially releases our scores. This sort of “ridicules” the delay (u get my point). As scores being delayed become a normal situation nowadays (you know how some people cheat in Asia, Egypt, etc.?), there is an increasing necessity for CB to delay score releasing, and CB surely doesn’t want us to see the scores beforehand. Why not just shut off the “college match”?
