in which situation does the college receive your score faster: listing a college as one of your score recipients or waiting till you know your score then reporting it to that college?

listing as a score recipient

what about listing as a score recipient compared to waiting till you know your score then rush reporting it

Possibly. You should call College Board and ask. Assuming you take Dec SAT, scores come out on Tuesday, 12/23, around 5 AM ET. Suppose you find out early that morning, and add recipient and rush scores right away. You should be same or faster than listing if College Board processes your request the same day. If they wait, you run into Christmas and your scores may arrive later than listing colleges as recipient.

do you think it will matter to the colleges, since im waiting till 24th for my ACT and yale’s app is due 31st?

crunkk, you’re fine. Last possible ACT test date for RD is February!

I listed four score recipients and apparently the scores were sent to colleges 2 days before I could check them online. And sending them afterward takes around 10 days from personal experience.
