Score Reporting and Rule

Daughter took Subject test in June and selected the option to send the score to 4 Universities. By the way, her score was not that great. She will be 2010 graduate and will be junior this fall. Called College Board and said the new rule goes into affect March 2009.

So my question is if I want her to take the SAT this fall, technically I should wait till after March 2009, so her scores don’t get reported?

Or is their an option to not send scores at all when you register.

Please help confused parent.

Thanks!

The cat’s already out of the bag for the scores sent to 4 universities, right?

You don’t have to send the scores anywhere–don’t fill out the section where it asks for your 4 free reports when you register. We chose not to send any reports for either the SAT and the ACT when my D registered. We wanted to see if one was significantly better than the other.

It’ll cost more $$, but I think that it was the better choice for us.
