Score to apply to Princeton

Well, my SAT composite is 2150

and my class rank is 24th out of 884 (around 2%~3%).

Score-wise, do you think i would have a chance?

Is this enough to even apply to princeton?

P.S. Let’s say i applied to MIT for EA and got accepted. Can i apply to princeton for the RD?

Would MIT let me do that?

It’s enough.

Of course you can, lol. If that’s the case, CONGRATULATIONS!!

^neethus1… they did not get into MIT. He was posing a purely hypothetical situation.

OP: Since you are Asian, you are going to need ridiculously incredible ECs, Recommendations, and essays in order to stand a shot at Princeton. Your scores are in the range, however amongst Asian applicants, they will be on the low end.

I had the same score, I am Asian, and I was told to ■■■■ ;)

If you want to eliminate scores as a possible hindrance, aim for 2300+.

@ eating food: I found it really odd that the OP would ask it as hypothetical - so I decided to say congratulations anyway, just in case.

Besides, I didn’t say it was amazing - I said, it was “enough”.

a 2200+ is good (the higher the better, of course)

go to the Questbridge thread from last year, someone got into Princeton RD with a sat of 1880 and a gpa of 3.3! urm and first generation…

“sat of 1880 and a gpa of 3.3! urm and first generation…”

that’s why he/she got in, URM and 1st gen… i’ve noticed many URMs with sub-2000 SATs get in
