Minnesota, still showing “registered”. Does when we get our scores depend of what tests we took (SATI or subject tests?)

Southern California here… no scores…

delaware…people in my testing center didnt receive scores yet, but other testing center has received score…Collegeboard hates me…

No score either…some of my friends have already received theirs, and I’m here waiting and refreshing the CB website!

you mean they also previously had only “registered” on their screens or they just couldnt log in??

this must be the first time such a large group of sat takers don’t have their scores right away…guh…i wish i had my scores, and i would have spent the $10 but like athlonmj said, our scores are not even in the database

ok, i asked like 3-4 friends from my test center and they all don’t have their scores either… wtffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. I hope CB realizes that we need these scores to finish our apps!

I got in after a million tries.

But no scores.

yeah, I think it has to be the test center’s problem, not any individual persons.

United we stand.

I hope this won’t take too long. We really do need our scores for applications. College Board surely wouldn’t be so unfair to us unlucky ones by delaying our scores for 2 weeks.

I’m pretty annoyed by this “we have other priorities” stance by CB. The Oct. SAT is probably the most important test-date, since so many seniors take the test at this time, and since it’s the preferred test date for those applying EA/ED. If I prepared two months for this SAT, I think CB could have prepared a couple of months to get this releasing-scores-on-the-promised-date thing down. Shame on you CB! And your mother, big business!

International Space Station - no scores :(

it’s cause we’re gonna stop funding for the ISS soon.

In NJ – after a zillion tries finally got through – to find NO SCORES!! Just “registered”. Read some posts that say they will be available in 2 weeks - is this true??? There must be something we can do! If you hear of something – please post!

yes…they even stop sending me the US premium space pizza…now they can only afford russian made pizza

Seriously, what do we do? If people from my test center got their scores, does that mean there was a specific problem with my test? I’m a little worried now.

Jia I don’t think there was a specific problem with your test. A lot of us are in the same situation. If other people from your test center were able to access their scores it was probably just due to luck. Colleboard site suffered a a system crash – I just came across this 10/23/04 article in the Washington Post:
“Internet Posting of SAT Scores Proves Too Popular” by Jay Matthews that explains the situation - but no solutions:(

If you can’t read the article from this link, just google the article by name and it will bypass the registration requirement.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A54829-2004Oct22.html

Okay, good… I’m just paranoid because I talked to one of my friends and he was like “Yeah, I bet you forgot to sign something and so they didn’t even score it.” Now that would be less than desirable. Thanks for the article, I’m reading it now.

Txs for sharing that article happygolucky. At least it eased my worries about something being wrong with my test and all the talk about hand scoring. I can’t believe the CB spokeperson is quoted as saying that if they can’t fix the problems we’ll have to wait for “snail mail” at the end of the month!

I refuse to pay the extra $10 to get my scores by phone but for anyone who needs their scores ASAP for scholarships, etc. the Washington Post article says that scores ARE available by phone by calling 1-800-728-7267.

As for what we can do about it – my guess is probably not much. BUT I did send an email to the College Board Headquarters to give them a piece of my mind. If anyone is interested in doing the same I signed on to the CB website and clicked on “contact us” and picked the main headquarters in NY.

Maybe if they hear from a lot of us who knows…maybe we can see our scores before December!
