Scores that could Hurt

When applying for generic high-tier schools, ranging from CarnegieMellon to Stanford: I’ve done the googling, the range is from 2100 to 2300. Would a 2120SAT/34ACT would it hurt? Would it be worth submitting the SAT?

Will the scores be detrimental, nonissue, (or positive, which I highly doubt)?
Is the SAT so detrimental that it would be worth redoing? SAT II’s need to be done in senior year.
Assume most rigorous schedule available.

Thanks for any input. Just looking for opinions.

I don’t think the 2120 would hurt but if you have no subject tests you might as well just send the ACT.
