Scoring Calculations for All AP tests

That website contains PDFs for the score calculations for all AP tests. You’ll have to scroll down a little bit to find them. Unfortunately, they do not contain the curve breakdowns. Those never seem to be published in easy to find places.

Additionally, for variable multiple choice numbers you’ll have to take the points partitioned to it and divide it by the number of questions and that will be your weight.

I’ve been able to compile the following score setting ranges. Keep in mind these intervals can sometimes vary widely from year to year. Be careful of your expectations especially if you’re within 5 - 10 points of the cutoff.

English Lit (appears the same as English Lang, I guess they’re similar)
108 – 150 5
93 – 107 4
72 – 92 3
43 – 71 2
0 – 42 1

AP Statistics
68 – 100 5
53 – 67 4
40 – 52 3
29 – 39 2
0 – 28 1

Calculus BC
65 – 108 5
55 – 64 4
42 – 54 3
0 – 41 1 or 2

Computer Science
60 – 80 5
45 – 59 4
33 – 44 3
25 – 32 2
0 – 24 1

For APUSH or English Lang.
