Questions:

Barrons, Sparknotes, and Princeton Review all differ significantly in the scoring scale. Which one is right?

Is it true there is a curve on Biology E? If so, how much?

If I miss certain problems and get a fraction, do I round?

What is the most number of questions can I miss for an 800?

There is a curve on every test… the amount varies. So sometimes you can miss 1 and get an 800 or sometimes 3. Yes, if you get a problem wrong, it is 1.25 off. If you miss two, that will be 2.5 off, which will round to 3.

Refer to the collegeboard website for more accurate information on the scoring scale or the “blue book”. Or you can refer to this forum for the information as posted by those with the blue book :-).

I heard someone got an 800 even though he missed 7 questions on the Ecology Bio SAT. Does this happen alot?
