I wanted to see when I submitted my application then I checked over my essay and I saw that I wrote:
“This is one of few schools that offer livestock science in my state”
Problem is that it is the ONLY school that offers that specific degree. I meant to say that it is the only school that offers this degree and only a few others offer agriculture and animal science.

Do you think that they would be offended at all? Should I bring it up in the interview?

Your concern has little merit. Let me tell you that my daughter who is the editor in chief for her school newspaper and who so boldly wants to major in English after her perfect score in English on the ACT, turned in an essay to a top school for early action, only to find later that she had not only one but two very obvious and ugly grammatical mistakes in her essay.

These mistakes usually don’t destroy your chance of getting in. It is the overall content that counts. With that said, you do want to perfect your essay. :-)
