Out of curiosity, where did she wind up sending in a deposit?</p>
<p>EI she deposited at Saint Mary’s College of CA. It’s close to home has a great science program and she will be in their honors program. It came down to the wire and was between Cal Poly SLO, St. Mary’s and Trinity U in Texas but her overnight at SMC sealed the deal for it as #2 and she decided not to even visit Trinity. </p>
<p>Scripps is still her #1 though.</p>

<p>Are you sure you’re talking about Scripps? I called this morning and they said that they haven’t started looking at their waiting list yet.</p>
<p>springflowers I was beginning to have the same suspicion. Either the OP is mistaken or is trying to mislead intentionally. Thanks for calling in and posting.</p>
<p>FYI- my daughter was offered a place off the waitlist on tuesday morning (5/12) which she has accepted. From what the dean told her, it sounded like they had "a few’ spots. This probably is not encouraging news, but I thought you would want to know. I heard the admitted class is 203.</p>
