My status date changed from Nov. To Feb.1… ? But still pending
Hey everyone! I had my school counselor email a counselor at SDSU and ask about admissions for me (so I know this is reliable) She said admissions decisions will continue to go from now until the first week of April. She said they are in no particular order and it is random. So don’t stress if you haven’t gotten anything yet or your status is not updated. (:
My status also changed yesterday to march 20th but still pending. I wouldn’t worry-until the decisions come out i don’t think there’s any trick to find out what you’re gonna get if that’s what people are thinking or real method to it.
My D’s status has never changed from 12/1/17. I don’t understand what the changing of the dates means.
@Smith0701 Ours didn’t change until my D’s status changed from Pending to Admitted. I don’t understand what any intermediate change would mean but ours didn’t and I wouldn’t worry if yours doesn’t either. The main thing will be the Pending status changing to Admitted and then your portal will show the date that happened.
I believe the changing of dates means that they re-evaluated your application! If your date changed or didn’t change I wouldn’t worry either way! I don’t think the date changing/not changing indicates whether you will be accepted or not

@doglover45. Yes! There are some majors that haven’t been addressed yet passed the early admissions notices. For transfer students many found out on Feb 26, but lots of majors haven’t heard at all yet. Don’t lose hope.
Anyone send in their appeal package? I just mailed out mine today.

@waiting0532, for me I sent in a formal letter discussing why I’m appealing, documentation supporting the reason why I’m appealing- (for me, this was documentation from my doctor’s) a form from the SDSU website you’re supposed to fill out, transcripts from your college, and current verification of classes you’re enrolled for this semester.
