@Banker1 I wish I got accepted to one of those UC’s since I’m going into science instead of getting accepted to SDSU. I didn’t apply to UCSB or UCD tho.
It should be noted that a big difference between application to SDSU and those UCs I mentioned above - the UCs also consider strength of essays / ECs where SDSU doesn’t consider those.
Could someone possibly explain to me what “initial college transcripts” are? I already had my transcripts from my high school sent, but I haven’t been able to figure out the other one. It says the institution is “Advanced Placement”, so do they mean my AP scores? (I realize these may be dumb questions lol)
@natezach728: Yes your AP scores need to be sent with postmark for May 1. Do it tonight.
@natezach728 in my D’s case she took two dual enrollment courses where local community college professors came to her campus to teach those classes. So she logged into the local community college website and electronically ordered a transcript to be sent to SDSU for her fall semester grades. And she logged into collegeboard.org and had her AP scores (to this point) sent to SDSU. So the preliminary HS transcript, college transcript and AP scores all had to be ordered / postmarked by 5/1.
By the way when she takes her AP tests this year she’s pre-registered to have those new scores sent to SDSU for free.

So I understand the initial college transcript would apply only if I took college courses?
@natezach728: Yes if you took any college courses, then you would need to sent an official college transcript also.
In my portal, it says Required - Partial Transcript Received, Will Be Required to Provide Final Transcript. Does this mean I need to send the 7th semester transcript now? I have a green check too.
@SmartGurl17 it means you have met the 5/1 requirement to submit your partial (7th semester) transcript so you are set. The final transcript just needs to be sent in by 7/15.
There are still X’s next to AP and college transcripts that are due today. I already sent it in electronically. What is going on
They just need to be ordered by today. Ours took 2-3 days to clear after we electronically ordered them.
