She was accepted via portal on 3/8/21 and email was actually received on 3/10/21.
What is everyone making of the admission status dates? D’s is 11/26/20 - Pending for Theater Arts

Both of mine do say admission status date. Sorry, I misread it. My daughter is still pending for Real Estate.

No email and was accepted. 
Not sure about the admissions status but my D did get an acceptance for Theater- Performance on Friday 3/11.

Honestly, I would Google, and see what you find on Quora, Reddit, and CC. It will mostly be anecdotal, but will give you an idea of what others think and say, and their experiences.
We live in an area where most of my kids friends hire consultants to guide them through the college application process. That’s not in our budget, but for both my girls, I did hire someone for a 1-2 hour meeting in early April, to go through their acceptances, and talk about best fit for academics and the college experience they are looking for. We prepare a spreadsheet with info on each school they applied to, admission status, major applied to and accepted to, cost, scholarships, and campus impressions, so the counselor can “get to know” the girls a more quickly. My first found it very helpful to talk through with someone knowledgeable, who wasn’t family. My second daughter has not had her appointment yet, but is looking forward to it for the same reasons. My second is applying for engineering, which is not something I know much about, so I’ve hired someone who does.
Anyone get a new acceptance today from SDSU?
Still pending and the portal changed to say Admission Status Date March 12, 2021.
