So does my son.

there are still some colleges with rolling admission if she is willing to go out of state. Some schools like UofA, ASU, give good merit money as well

It looks like they accepted about 14k less this year than 2019 with more applicants. I don’t know the stats for 2020. In 2019 they had 70,048 applicants and accepted 23,905. this year they had 92k applicants and accepted 9k. Thats according to collegefactual.com.

i was waitlisted just now for pre-speech language and hearing sciences. my gpa was about a 3.6 with only a few AP’s and no test score so SDSU was a definite reach for me! congrats to everyone who got in and fingers crossed to all on the waitlist

naive here - what is a csu gpa?

Has anyone been waitlisted/rejected for communications?

My daughter hasn’t heard for communications yet either. Below are her stats on the application:

GPA - 3.84
a-g classes - 30.5 years
College units completed: 22 units
In progress - 10 units
Planned for spring - 8 units

Someone on here yesterday said their daughter was accepted for Communications last Thursday.

CSU calculates 10th & 11th A-G but has a cap on 8 college courses counting as honors. GPA Calculator | CSU

Usually the waitlist opens after the May 1 enrollment deadline since they need to see if spots are open. Contacting them will do no good. Opt in and move on.

Have you ever seen more acceptances after waitlist?

Son just waitlisted for philosophy, but he got into SLO. Go figure? With a 10 percent acceptance rate this year @Gumbymom do you think there will be a lot pulled off the waitlist? I told my son SLO is better but he’s bummed because sdsu was one of the top contenders for him.

So there is no way people come off the WL before May 1?

Denied - theater

denied for business

Daughter in for graphic design. She had about 3.7 UGPA and 4.1 WGPA. She had taken three community colleges classes and got A’s which might have helped.

oh wow, rejections are coming thru?!

for ppl who got rejected, dw there is other college options waiting for you!
