Same…this experience is making me re-calibrate what I consider safety schools for my other kid who will be applying in 2 years. Thankfully my kid got accepted to UCI already.
i got waitlisted for environmental science 4.05 csu gpa. i updated a cc class grade from fall 2020 and it rose up to a 4.14 but i don’t think they saw it
I’m still pending for Psychology. I have a 4.04 csu gpa and felt good about sdsu, but I’m starting to lose confidence now.
Thank you. She got an email from the department (she applied as an oceanography major to that one) that said they had scholarships available, but I can’t imagine they’ll be much. At least that gives her something to focus on.

me too, 4.12 csu gpa and it seems they just rolled out waitlists for psych.
Thats the major problem with Cal State apps, there is no opportunity to talk about the ECs. All they ask is the # of hours you spend on ECs.

sdsu admits by major so I think certain majors are heavily impacted thats why and others arent as hard to get into

Psych applicant here - still pending. I just got accepted into UCSB, but I’m very confused on why SDSU is taking so long. I’m prepared for a rejection, but this roll out has been extremely strange. It seems all the psych majors have already been accepted or waitlisted.

You were definitely a pretty solid candidate but unfortunately, Cal States are only Stats. They don’t take leadership/EC’s into consideration ):
