is the portal down for you guys?

Did your waitlist notification go straight to your email or did you have to go to the portal for a decision? Is this just one big batch of rejections going out right now? Anyone admitted in this round???
Portal. Which is currently down. I am seeing mostly rejections and waitlists. 10% acceptance is crazy. What a weird year!
i’m sure it’s much smaller. for fall 2020, the total first-years enrolled were 4,852.
Oh I see. It looked like they were saying we had 92k applicants and sorry we could only offer admissions to 9k which made me thing only 9k we accepted.
How do you know SDSU had a 10% acceptance rate? That doesn’t seem correct.
My son accepted to SDSU back in December and accepted into Weber Honors but rejected from UCSB.
what is your GPA?
The letter my son got said 92000 apps they accepted 9k. And I agree seems very low
My D is pretty high stat and has taken a bunch of AP’s.
S got an email at 6:14pm tonight to check status and portal is down.

i checked my portal and the admission status says “denied admission” but below there is a box that asks if you want to be put on the waitlist. i got an email a couple hours later saying there was an update regarding my admission status
Still can’t get into the portal. Thanks SDSU for capping off a probable rejection with this.

If she is not accepted to any CSU’s, she will receive an email for redirection where she can list a 1st and 2nd choice campus based on the available list.

4798 was the Freshman class enrollment last year with over 23,000 admits.

I got accepted last week to SDSU for film. CSU/UC GPA was a 3.6, granted I have taken 7 AP classes as well as a bunch of honors. Was also accepted to cal poly slo.
Is it still down for you? This is so frustrating
I was thinking the same. People have applied to so many places this year. I heard that the average # of applications is up by at least 5 per person from prior years. Just not good for the mental health of all these students.

9000 admits does not seem right to me and these numbers are quoted off of the website College Factual, I would say they are way off. Most schools admit 3x as many applicants vs. the # that enroll. I would get my information directly from the source which is SDSU.
