Sean Diddy Combs belongs in jail - painful to watch [hotel surveillance video]

The video explains it all.

Crazy.

Ray Rice lost his life - and Diddy should too.

One has to be super angry to run in out of nowhere like that.

???

his livelihood, etc. - when i say life - I mean what he did, his existence, his dignity, his public perception
etc

Not only does he continue to deny, deny, deny, he still has a fair amount of passionate support. Sickening.

Except he didn’t. He was reinstated, didn’t play again but could have. He also isn’t banned from NFL events and was honored by the Ravens 10 years after incident.

He never played again. That was his existence
unlike, say Joe Mixon.

I think it’s safe to say, Diddy will never have the same existence - and that’s proper.

Hopefully he won’t.

And yes, if there’s a way to prosecute, they should.

Why has it taken 8 years for this video? And how many victims, out of fear of not being believed, or paid off, never bring this to light or when they do aren’t believed.

Dude ran into a hotel hallway in a towel. He’s evil.

Forget the Ray Rice analogy - I’m saying - whatever he has from his public legacy - I hope it goes away.

From this article that @MarylandJOE shared, the crime in the video is too old to be prosecuted for itself, but it may be used in a RICO case by the federal government, similar to how R. Kelly was prosecuted (and found guilty and sentenced to 30 years in prison).

What horrified me even more is that there are allegations that Diddy has bought surveillance videos multiple times to try and hide his crimes.

Suffice it to say, I hope he never makes one more cent until he has made all of his victims whole (and with traumatizing events, that may be never) and that he has learned to be a gentleman. I strongly suspect that it will also include a lengthy amount of time incarcerated.

I thought I read that the woman in the video had settled, and I don’t blame her one bit. Would you want to bring charges against this ‘machine’? She’s very brave to stand up to him now, 8+ years later.

I just saw this clip on Alex Witt’s show on MSNBC. I found it really hard to watch. This guy has serious problems–an apology is not enough. He should be in jail, but apparently it’s too late for that in this case. Diddy has 20 million followers on Instagram. Wonder if he’ll lose his fanbase?

She settled, probably for a huge sum if this video was part of the evidence she brought forth.

Just as with Ray Rice, the video makes it obvious Diddy is a well-practiced expert at throwing and dragging women. Those weren’t amateur moves.

Ray Rice’s victim, unfortunately, married him, and they’re still together with two children. Cassie Ventura got out.

My understanding was that SDC purchased the video for a large sum from the hotel, so it wasn’t available to her during her lawsuit (or to law enforcement). I’d read that this video was part of what was recovered at his homes when he was served with a search warrant.

Did I get that wrong? One never knows these days

I’m rooting for the feds to take him down. He belongs in prison for a very long time, just like R. Kelly.

I’m trying to imagine why a person would go to the trouble of buying the video from a hotel and then keep it around instead of destroying it. Could he think it somehow reflected well on him? Or – ick – did he like to watch it and reminisce?

Was probably a trophy of sorts to him.

“Men who hate women, men who hate who they are, who can’t admit to their sexuality, who are pretending to be straight when they’re not. And they hate women because they can’t,” says Ovesen. “They don’t love women. Most of them want to be women, and they can’t, and they hate us. They beat us early and often.” exactly

I follow a lot of crime and trial podcasts, but this story is really hard to watch. There are just so many people who are involved, and so many who have been hurt. Money. The FBI has been investigating Diddy since 2008! Just take your time, lose being hurt are just women and children.

I have been VERY impressed with the lawyers who have been commenting on the Diddy case. Many of theH are very knowledgeable about the law and the facts of the case. Once again, interesting to watch the ‘inside Hollywood’ gang scramble for cover. Who was at the parties? Everyone! Politicians, music moguls, movie and tv stars. I guess none of them have children?

this case is eerily similar to epstein. what’s the likelihood of dĂ©jĂ  vu with all of the celebrities and $$$ involved?

It is a lot like Epstein, except that Diddy actually worked for his money and didn’t just steal it from other people.

But every day it is worse and worse for the people he took advantage of to ‘build’ their careers, mostly teens and 18-25 year olds. He controlled them with drugs and career opportunities, and made them do what he wanted. Like Epstein, many politicians and movers and shakers. He didn’t get the keys to NYC for nothing. Anna Wintor invited him to the Met Gala and introduced him to other fashion people.

Do I feel bad that he has to sit in jail, that he’s depressed and not eating? Not one bit.
