<p>I am an Indian Student completing Bachelors in Economics (B.Sc Eco, not B.A. Hons in Economics). I will be graduating next year, so wished to start my search in advance. I checked the top colleges I knew of, and found that most of them provide Ph.D directly, which takes out my chances for getting into Ivies (which was low anyway, my GPA for first year whole was 2.9, though I am sure I can bring it up gradually! Two more years…).</p>
<p>So I wanted to know if there are good colleges who provide M.A. in Public Policy or Development. I want to stay a little far away from Maths and stats, I am a little more on the theoretical side of the spectrum that is Economics (thus the poor performance, B.Sc Eco is a little more Quantitative). A little well known college would be good, since I need to convince my mother into sending me half-way across the world.</p>
