Searching for matches/reaches/safeties? [Rising senior]

UW GPA: 3.73
W GPA: 4.35 (consisted of only mainly honors courses freshman and sophomore year, switching schools led to 2 ap courses and honors courses junior year)
SAT: 2030, 620 CR, 700M, 710 W (will be retaking one more time in fall to increase CR)
ACT: 29 (not aiming to retake)

I’m currently situated in FL, so obviously getting bright futures scholarship is the best option financially allowing schools such as UF, UCF, FPOLY, FSU on my list. However, I want to see some match schools that might be achievable out of state disregarding finances but not sure if I’m reaching correctly.

For majors, I’m looking into engineering (electrical, comp, civil, etc.), or CS (not completely sure on this). I’m not set on these but they seem to be what I see myself doing. I’m not much into greek life or sports so whether the college has it will be irrelevant to me. I spend lots of time on the computer and don’t really a have a hobby other than gaming. This summer has been more or less volunteering to get the hours for a scholarship.

It might seem that way but I do want to get out of my comfort zone for college and explore.

If you are considering FSU for engineering, add FAMU. Same engineering, but probably cheaper or better scholarship (3.5 / 27 is supposedly an automatic full in state ride there).

If I do stay in state, I’m hoping for acceptance into UF engineering.

What would be your safety school (not one that you “hope for acceptance”)? Automatic full ride at FAMU (see http://www.famu.edu/Scholarships/New_Scholarship%20Criteria%20Flyer_2015-2016%201.pdf )?

UCF.

I’ve seen FAMU’s stuff and heard about them because some of my friends went to FSU and FAMU for a visit but haven’t touched upon it much. I looked at the stats and what really stood out to me was the demographics. To be frank, It didn’t seem culturally diverse due to the dominating black population. I think that’s a big factor for me. I think I sound pretentious right now but I wouldn’t feel comfortable in that environment.
