<p>Where are you getting yield these days?</p>
<p>I was buying munis…but I don’t like the yields in that market anymore.</p>
<p>I bought some bank debt…but that market has rallied and I don’t see anything that excites me.</p>
<p>So anything look good?</p>

<p>I’m doing pretty well with arugula.</p>
<p>My mother has been making about 10% on her “mad money” stock market account. (I make the trades for her, since her current computer cannot effectively access the internet.)</p>

<p>I misread how they calculate yield (tiny tiny print) 6.17% is only for the first$500 .</p>

<p>I did buy some crappy muni today…the yield was close to 5 % …but for 20 years…(just to stay on topic ;)).</p>
<p>Or maybe what I think is the topic isn’t the topic. :)</p>

<p>I have been buying cases of beer, cost is about 24 bucks, then i recycle the bottles at 5 cents each, i am yielding 5% and getting a nightly buzz</p>

<p>Got in MO a about a year ago at 23.xx. The yield is definitely above the ~6% dividend.</p>
<p>Build a time machine out of a DeLorean, go back 40 years, and invest in 100 shares of Berkshire Hathaway.</p>
