I will probably apply ED to SEAS this fall. I know that since the SEAS applicant pool is comparatively smaller than that of the College and pretty self-selecting (hardcore engineers that don’t care about SEAS’s philosophy of well-rounded engineering probably don’t apply), the acceptance rate is usually higher. Does anyone know what it was in 2012 after Columbia started using the Common App and got that huge applicant surge?

Also, on a side note, does SEAS value things EC’s like sports and music (i.e. not necessarily related to engineering)? Cause if not then I might be screwed.
