seas math recommendation

I was wondering if someone could help me. I’ve searched on the forums, and the consensus seemed to be that I could substitute a science teacher for the math teacher for the seas recommendation.

i was planning to submit my ap bio teacher instead of my math teacher because i didn’t have a great relationship with my math teacher junior year.

is this a bad idea?

i think that’s pushing it because ap bio only involves a bit of statistics. what about physics or chem?
but i think it may be more plausible if you are trying to go for biomed

anyone else?

im not sure about about the seas but i can tell you that if u ABSOLUTELY KNOW that ur ap bio teacher will write a better, and more personalized, recc…then u, for sure, want to send that one.

I had my computer science teacher write my “math” letter of recommendation…the computer science program is considered a part of the math department in my school, and I did really well in his class (and have worked with him on preparing for the AB exam so far).

(he also got his MBA at Columbia :P).
