Second loan for last year?

The government has canceled two of my scholarships this year due to the financial crisis. I only need to get through one more year of school. However, I don’t believe that I can pay for it with just the one loan and scholarship I have. I’ve calculated my tuition and rent, and I’m still short with the money I’m getting now. This isn’t even beginning to factor in food and other needs.

I’m wondering if it is possible to take out a second loan. My parents are also willing to take out a parent loan to help me. Is it even possible? And how would I do it?

Definitely…there are Parent Plus Loans (federal), private student loans, etc. Lots of choices if you have a decent cosigner (or a good credit history of your own). Just google or look for links on your school’s website for Parent Plus info.

Yes you should go for Parent Plus Loans.
