I know that Wash U allows students majoring in economics or political science to pursue a second major in political economy. I’m interested in hearing from people familiar with this double major. Does it have a reputation for being notably good or bad, difficult or “do-able”? Are there many students in this double major? The required senior seminar in political economy looks like it involves a lot of writing. How does this affect students pursuing honors in either the first major (political science or economics) or in political economy?

Any information would be appreciated. (I’m familiar with the online information about the program – no need to forward that URL.)
