<p>For those who’ve been through this process before, do the unsolicited college mailings that result from test scores happen in waves?
My S13 took the PSAT in October and received mailings and emails referring to his scores in the immediate months that followed. Then there was nothing. He’s only taken the ACT since then, but it’s not time for those scores to be released yet. Yesterday he received two mailings from schools that referred to his “scores”. They didn’t mention Student Search Service though like the other ones did. Could these be late responses from his PSAT scores or early ones from the ACT? Does the ACT provide colleges with student info the same as College Board does?</p>
<p>We have had three rounds of mailings. The first after the PSAT. The second after taking the ACT (including an early admission to a top 25 public school) and the third just recently along with the letter from College Board stating S13’s PSAT scores were high and he could choose two schools to send info to.</p>
