<p>I’m not sure what the big forums these days are. Watch the transfer facebook page, the mailing list, and student forums. Do a Google for “off-grounds housing”, that’s a forum that may or may not still be active.</p>
<p>I say apply through the office to get your name on a list. Then try to actively find something on the above sites. Once you find someone to switch with, you both have to notify the office and you pay the $100 app fee, then they switch. The one thing you need to watch out for is I’m not sure if you can still do this if you accept a housing offer. So just double check that</p>
