It seems as if secondaries for a few schools have already started popping up. Does anyone know whether it is necessary to wait for invitation to begin these or can we just go ahead and create the login information, etc, and begin working on these?

Go ahead and begin them ASAP. Every day can help.

I am not sure what you mean by “popped” up but waiting for an invitation. DD applied to an OOS system that had two schools, she got a secondary invite from one of the campuses. We then saw on SDN that the other campus secondary was available online; she thought she had missed it and was a bit confused as to whether the campuses were joined/sharing info/completely separate as we have seen all those situations.

DD logged on and completed the secondary for the other campus and got a “spanking” email basically saying “how dare you submit without being invited?” She apologized and was sincerely just confused about the process, with 30+ secondaries they do tend to blend together and you can read all the time about some one’s email invite going to junk mail.

A week later she got an actual invite from that campus to complete the secondary which she had already done. It was weird to say the least. So, do the questions, but be careful about submitting uninvited!

Wow, Thanks for the feedback. So I guess I’ll get started and wait till invited for submission.

That’s weird. That never happened to me – granted, it was several years ago now.
