Secondary Options: Northwestern, Tufts?

Im getting worried about my application to Cornell. More just that I’m anxious about it. I’m thinking that I should have some back up schools ready to apply to. I’m really interested in pre med and psychology. I’ve been looking at so many different schools, but after much research I’ve come upon northwestern and tufts for options for Fall 2009 transfer. I hear back from Cornell in December, but I’d like to have backup plans already in mind.

Stats:
Colorado State University
Psychology Honors Major
Standing: Sophomore
GPA: Will be 3.8+ after this semester
Extras: Pre-Med Club (FY and SY), Resident Assistant (RA - Full year SY), Vice-Pres for APO (Co-ed Community Service Org), Research Assistant (Psychology Department)

What other schools should I look at? Do I even have a chance with Northwestern and Tufts? I’ve just heard that they have great pre-med programs.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tufts has a REALLY late response date. You will have plenty of time to decide whether or not you want to apply there after you receive your Cornell response.
